My son is turning 2 years old on December 11th!!! Crazy!!! Time is just flying by... Harry is having a Dr. Seuss birthday party, so I made some cool cookies for it.
Here's what you need:
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 stick of salted butter
1 banana
1 egg
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
Food coloring
What to do:
1. First, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Set aside.
2. In a separate bowl, mix with a mixer the butter, banana, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
3. Combine both bowls together.
4. Separate the dough into 4 balls.
5. Add red, blue, yellow, and green to a separate ball of dough and mix separately with a mixer.
6. Freeze the dough for about 30 minutes.
7. After the 30 minutes, take the dough out, and flatten it.
Note: You might need some flour if the dough is sticky.
8. Place each color on top of each other.
9. Roll the dough into a cylinder, and preheat oven to 350F degrees.
10. Cut into pieces/circles, and place them on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
11. Bake for about 20 minutes.
12. Cool and enjoy!! :)
