Homemade Candy Corn


Who would have thought that you could make your own candy corn?! Well, you can!! It is allergy friendly too!!! :)


Here's what you need:

1 1/2 cup rice flour
1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup water
Food coloring


What to do:

1. First, melt the coconut oil in the microwave, and mix it up with the brown sugar and water.

2. Then, add the rice flour, and mix well. 

3. Separate into 3 balls.

4. Add 4 drops of yellow food coloring to one ball of dough, and mix well. 

5. Add 4 drops of yellow food coloring and 3 drops of red food coloring to another ball of dough. Mix well. 

6. Refrigerate the 3 balls of dough for about 1 hour.

7. Once refrigerated, roll the dough into thin strips, and place next to each other. 

8. Cut into small triangles. 

9. Place onto a plate.

10. Freeze and enjoy!! :)
