Exploding Soap

Have you ever wondered what happens when you microwave a bar of soap? Well, wonder no more!! We found out, and the results are super cool!

Harry and I used a bar of his dad's Irish Spring soap. (Sorry, Scott!!!) It leaves a nice aroma in the room too. :)

Here's what we did:

1. Place the bar of soap on a microwave safe plate, and microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds.

2. Let it cool for about 5 minutes. The soap will become crumbly, but it will also be sticky like clay. We played around with the soap crumbles, and we also used cookie cutters to make some shapes. Fun!!! :)
